He insists that Caroline & Stefan are just not happy that he is the reason Elena is finally comfortable with being a vampire. Stefan tells Damon about the sire bond and Damon rubbishes it. Stefan awkwardly tells Damon that they need to talk. They all say awkward 'Hi's and Elena leaves. Just as she opens the door to leave, Stefan arrives. Elena agrees to holding it off for one day. She tells him that they should tell Stefan about them, but Damon tells her that the time has never been right for them and they should be able to enjoy one secret selfish day before they tell Stefan & destroy his. Kim refuses to listen & takes Adrian away.Įlena is leaving for school and Damon comes with her to the door to kiss her goodbye. If he doesn't break the bond and goes in front of Klaus, he might be in danger. Hayley says that Adrian is the last hybrid left who is sired to Klaus. Kim can't see him in pain & asks Tyler & Hayley to stop torturing him. Adrian is in pain and says he cannot do this anymore. Tyler, Hayley & Kim are watching Adrian, the only hybrid left who is sired to Klaus, transforming. Stefan tells her to just ask Tyler about it & not mention it to anyone else until they're sure about it and how it works. She wants to check with Tyler how a sire bond works. Caroline is not so sure - she insists that Elena has become Damon's 'lapdog'. Stefan says maybe Elena might not react like the hybrids do to Klaus, as a vampire to vampire siring is rare and different. At the same time, Caroline & Stefan continue their conversation about how it is not good news that Elena is sired to Damon. Damon says he's 'happy' and they make love again. He calls out to her, she is around and jumps right back in to bed after saying that she was supposed to be back at school 20 minutes ago.

This episode starts with the morning after the hot sex scene between Damon & Elena from the last episode. Finally, Damon is faced with a heartbreaking decision. At Hayley's urging, Tyler confronts one of Klaus' hybrids, Kimberley, and the situation quickly escalates into violence. Elena, Caroline and Bonnie share a girls night while the Salvatore brothers are out of town, and emotions run high when Elena delivers some shocking news. Searching for answers, Damon and Stefan visit modern day New Orleans to see if they can find anyone who remembers the events of their last visit in 1942, including one of Damon's former flames, Charlotte, who was sired to him in the past. A FLASHBACK TO NEW ORLEANS IN 1942 - When Stefan confronts Damon with a suspicion about Elena, Damon has no choice but to help Stefan investigate this matter.
